IMSA Member Benefits

What do you get as an IMSA member?

Community

You aren’t alone in your craft. Learn from others. Help each other.

Representation

IMSA and its board members are part of large Maple organizations such as the North American Maple Syrup Council. These connections help all of us in IN to stay current on the Maple Syrup industry, best practices, and promotion options.

Advocacy

In 2021, in cooperation with Purdue University, IMSA benefited from a $500,000 USDA grant to promote maple syrup producers and marketing in IN. The grant was put to use for our members between 2021 -2024 and served the whole industry. IMSA continues to represent the Indiana maple producers for future grant opportunities.

Resources

IMSA members get exclusive access to all the issues of the Tapline, with news and education about the IN maple industry. You also have access to marketing materials and best practices. Best of all, you can reach out to a board member or other producers for help if needed!

Promotion & Marketing

If you are a maple producer and want to increase your sales, IMSA membership is a must! Add a listing to the Indiana Maple Syrup Finder, be featured in emails and social media, and even have your own webpage with information in our producer directory.

IMSA also represents Hoosier Maple Producers at the Indiana State Fair and reaches thousands of guests with info about our state’s sweet success!

Events

IMSA members are invited to events throughout the year. Training events, Maple Syrup Weekend, and the annual meetings are some of the events that bring our community together.

IMSA is volunteer-led. We are proud of the work that our organization does to promote and celebrate the Hoosier maple industry.

As we educate the public about Indiana Maple Syrup, we help our whole industry which benefits individual producers!
